Fried Rice Bread

Ingredients

Long grain rice 2 cups
Scraped coconut ½ cup
Cumin seeds ½ tsp
Large Onion 1 (finely chopped)
Salt to taste
Oil for frying


 

 

           

Method of Preperation

Soak the long grain rice for 3-4 hrs and grind it coarsely with minimal water in a mixer bowl.
Add scraped coconut, cumin seeds, large onion in a mixer bowl and grind to get a grainy thick batter.

After grinding add salt mix it well with your hands a little bit of rice floir to it.
Make them into small balls

In a heavy bottomed pan on flame, pour oil required for deep frying.

Press out the balls into small thick discs and deep fry them in oil.
