Method of Preperation
Soak the rice ada for 15 minutes in boiled water, covered with a lid.
In a vessel on flame pour 100g ghee and stir the rice ada in it. Add milk and let the rice ada cook on medium flame.
Add sugar and cardamom and keep on stirring.
When it starts getting thick remove from flame.
Fry the cashews and raisins in ghee and add to the payasam.
