Ingredients

2 cups of black chana(chickpeas)
1/4 cup grated coconut
Mustard and cumin (jeera) for tampering
A few curry leaves
3 chopped small green chillis
Salt to taste.

           

Soak the black chana(chickpeas) overnight. Then pressure cook it and keep aside. Take a pan and heat one spoon of oil in it. Add mustard, jeera, chopped green chillis and curry leaves and saute it. To this mix the cooked black chana (chickpeas). Add salt to taste. Finally add the grated coconut and mix thoroughly. Black chana usli is ready to relish. It can be eaten just like that ,served with chapatis or even as a dry side dish with rice!!!
