Ingredients

Rice flour 2 cups
Scraped coconut 1 cup
Water 3 cups
Jiggery (melted) ¾ cup
Cumin seeds ¼ tsp
Cardamom powder ¼ tsp
Ghee 1 tbsp
Coconut oil

           

Method of Preperation

stirring till an even thick paste is made.

Knead the dough well with your hands, make medium sized balls and set aside.

In a pan on flame, heat the ghee and fry the scraped coconut along with cumin seeds and melted jiggery. Roast them well and add the cardamom powder.

Make depressions in the balls in the form of cups, spoon in the coconut filling and seal te balls with your fingers. Steam the kozhukatta is till they are done
